Why condensation control starts with closed cells.

The surface is only the beginning
Condensation appears when a surface falls below the surrounding air’s dew point. In building services, that can mean wet insulation, corrosion risk, energy loss, and a finish that no longer behaves as intended.
Closed cells change the conversation
Closed-cell materials resist the movement of water vapour through the structure. That makes the material choice, seam quality, and finish especially important when protecting chilled water, refrigeration, or cold ductwork.
Installation still matters
Material performance is only one part of a system. Joints, supports, adhesives, and penetrations need to preserve continuity. The best specification is one the installer can complete accurately.
